Of note are a statement about laws against fencing any part of the Hempstead Plains without license or permission, 1822; statement about John Mott's cure for a horse disease on Long Island, 1828; family letters, 1831 and 1881-1899, concerning health and the sale of a mare; account book of William Flower, 1814-1828; and ciphering books of Willima and Joseph Flowers, 1784-1816, Jonas Flowers, 1816-1829, and John Flowers, 1857.
